The Hunts With
Scapegoat Wilderness Outfitters

We
offer many types of hunts, from elk and deer
combination, to elk only or trophy deer only. My aim is
to customize the hunt to work for you.
We schedule one archery hunt prior
to the opening of rifle season. Our area is one of only
two in the state that offers this early season during
the bugle.
The area we hunt in is a brow-tine
bull only area, which means the points off of the head
must be 4" long, usually a 4 x4 is the minimum for the
requirements.

Hunting Dates & Openings - 2011
Season

Bow Hunts
First bow hunt
will be September 4th through the 10th.
We have two openings for
two hunters with one guide or one opening for one hunter
with one guide. |
Rifle Hunts - Deer and Elk

Sept. 14 to Sept. 21 (We have an opening for one
person for a two person one guide hunt, and
two openings for a two person one guide hunt or one
opening for a one person one guide hunt) |

Sept. 24 to Sept. 30 (4 Openings) |

Oct. 3 to Oct. 9 - Can be Extended (4 Openings) |

Oct. 20 to Oct. 26 (Two openings for a two on one
guided hunt or one opening for a one on one guided
hunt) |

Oct. 29 to Nov. 4 (4 Openings) |

Nov. 7 to Nov. 13 - Can be Extended (4 Openings) |

hunting is a wonderful and rewarding challenge that
can test you. The wilderness is one of the last
places where you can hunt elk and deer that still
use their natural instinct to survive. This type of
hunt is not for everyone, it is not easy, nor should
it be, for this is pure hunting |
